Taize Service
First Baptist recently hosted the first community-wide Taize style worship on Jan. 8. Taize worship centers on creating an atmosphere for quiet reflection, allowing the worshiper to sense God's presence. The next service will be Friday, April 16, 7:00 pm at Memorial Presbyterian Church.

Labor Day Retreat at Lake Louise
Over Labor Day weekend, 73 First Baptist folks got together at Lake Louise for the annual Family Camp. The agenda? Simply to enjoy God's creation, and get to know each other better. There were campfires with singing, and a beautiful outdoor worship experience; together with times of swimming, hiking, eating, visiting, playing games, and just relaxing. Next year? Same time, same place! Plan to join us.
