DOING LIFE TOGETHER IN GROUPS

Feedback/reflection groups help our church complete the circle of communication. A feedback/reflection group focusing on the experience of being a member of our one of our Life Groups is now being organized. If you were a member of a church life group during the period of Lent, you are invited to participate. If you were not a member of a Life Group, then your input is also needed to balance the group to find out what we might do to enable your participation next time! The Life Group reflection session will meet April 13th at 12:00 noon here at FBC. A small lunch will be provided, and child care will be made available as needed. Sharing your experience will help us strengthen our ability to be a welcoming, inviting congregation. Good feedback is to our community life what breathing and eating are to our biological lives! To sign up, please contact Allen Ross (989-633-8248).

Nicaragua

NICARAGUA MISSION TRIP

Is being planned for July 24 - Aug. 3, 2008. There are 17 people from First Baptist who are planning to go to the country of Nicaragua, which is the 2nd poorest country in the Western Hemisphere. We will primarily be doing manual labor, helping villages to rebuild after the hurricanes and earthquakes that have ravaged their land. Sharing the love of Christ and working side by side, we anticipate learning how God is present everywhere!
