HOPE LUNCH....is a new idea. Once a month, there will be a simple meal served after Sunday School in the Hearthside Room. The money that would normally be spent in a restaurant can then be donated to one of the church's special mission ministries. The first month, $300 was raised to go to Midland Area Homes. The second month, $400 was raised to go to House of Mercy. The next HOPE lunch will be Sunday, July 25. Plan now to eat your lunch here those days, fellowship with good friends, and donate to a worthy cause!
Taize Service is a community-wide time of worship which centers on creating an atmosphere for quiet reflection, allowing the worshiper to sense God's presence. The next service will be Friday, July 9, 7:00 pm at St. John's Episcopal Church.<
GALACTIC BLAST: A Cosmic Adventure Praising God! will be coming to FBC starting Monday, July 19, in the evening. This weeklong adventure for elementary age children will be awesome.
